In terms of amount of sugar ingested through milkshake. A very pleasant evening in Ystad with da bruvvers (in law). Stoffe's gertting married sooon. So we ate lovely food at Grändens mat. Had some beers at Sushinu and some chilled place near the square.
Sadly no ginger ale was consumed and there was no dog involved. Or smugglers. But Ben and I had a lovely time none the less. I picked up the Lesser Spotted Bushit from Halmstad and we sped to Mats for GnT's , gaming, gifts from India and a gambol around the lake. Following a hearty breakfast including eggs from rescued battery hens we zoomed off to Mölle to hike the peninsula. It was, for me at least, a tremendously sweaty up and down the cliffs 16km or so. A dip in the sea helped After hosing off the salt dried to my body we went out to a luverly restaurant. Mölle Krukmakeri. There was jazz (Ritmo cubano) Nice! and friendly staff and a nice garden. And the food was really good. A napolese style pizza with Skånsk salami, mozzarella, olives, parmesan, spiggeskinka (whatever that is). Also a refreshing gazpacho, oven baked goats cheese with walnuts and grilled asparagus. The sun shone and the beer was cold and good.
The next day we checked out Skäret after an enormobreakfast, jumped in the sea and that was pretty much that. The girls and I head to Louisiana art museum, in Denmark, to see an exhibition by Pippilotti Rist. An immersive video and light-based piece to blow little girls (and adults!) minds. It was pretty cool and the museum is very beautiful. It overlooks the sea across to Ven and Sweden. Hanna was away canoeing with her mum.
We went out to Stäket, a yummy Italian in Lund. And then sat in a pleasant after dinner fug whilst Robert Redford ambled about robbing banks and twinkling. The children were somewhere else.
Other than that I've mostly been having a cold and painting the wooden bits of the house. Hanna and I and her mum went to look at the high school in Genarp on friday as H may well start there in the autumn, which would be lovely. nIt seemed lovely. Nice rector? Is that a word... and pleasant classrooms. Good vibe. We've caught up with Game of Thrones, having rewatched it in anticipation of the final season. It's good. Stella went to see Dumbo with Sandra, MASSIVE milkshake heaven afterwards. Cosiness at Lugnadal. I ran into the sea, dunked my head under and ran out again. The girls poured water on Rune, Karin's brother. And the sun was hot.
Astrid ready to hit the heady hights of rock n roll stardom. And the bottling of Amiable Mildred 3.4% Dark english mild. Very tasty, chocolate hints and pleasantly aley.
The girls had their health check this morning. They check height, weight, hand eye coordination, understanding, hearing and sight. All good, Astrid like the understanding test best and Klara wanted to carry on adding beads to a string.
Celebrating at dagis with their chums. Sweet that they get a little prezzie. They also sent us some pics to remind us of their time together. When they got home they had a packet from Joge to open too. Sarsps.
On a lovely sunny sunday we celebrated the grrrls turning 4. Big day tomorrow! There were plenty of prezzies to savage. Later the rest of the hood came by for some damn fine scoff. Lossa pah and an ice cream bomb.
