We squeezed it in a little early and why not? Managed to get a hotel room from the good Cord over there in Västra Hamnen. Started the evening with a little light shopping and a lovely glass of wine at L'Enoteca. Accompanied with a some cheese and charcuterie. Trés bien mon cherie. Moved on to the fetchingly named Bastard, close to Lila Torget. As fate would have it we ate there 10 years ago with the Hood when we celebrated Sandras 30th birthday. We hadn't booked, but they managed to squeeze us in at the bar. We sampled a few cocktails, Perfect Storm, Karma collins i think and a yummy coffee one. They were all lovely. I was quite taken with the strong coffee liquer one withe iceberg sized cube which took up most of the space in the glass. We nibbled on crab quiche and lardo with anchovies on toasted bread. Then some nice cake, cider and plum and apple. Ice creamy thing with raspberries.
Then we went to the pics and managed to stay awake! Probably thanks to the coffee before. We watched A Star is Born which I thought was alright but Sandra felt was a bit too cheesy or clichéd. Then we wandered back through town, Malmö looking pretty in the darkness with lights playing on the water. Comments are closed.
